It prevents clogging of laboratory drainage systems and purifies water from grinding residues, particularly in closed-loop water systems.

In addition to the standard mesh filter included in the set (approx. 500 µm), the separator can be optionally equipped with additional nonwoven (fleece) filters ranging from 10 µm to 100 µm.
